Police say a Shelton man pulled a gun outside a popular business in Monroe.
The incident was first reported by the Monroe Sun.
Monroe police released a surveillance photo taken outside 574 Wines on Monroe Turnpike Saturday afternoon.
Police say everyone in the store went out the back and into neighboring businesses before the man came inside.
They say the man was gone before they arrived, but they tracked him down through his license plate.
Police charged 60-year-old Phillip Caseria with illegally carrying a firearm while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He is due in court next week.
