Stratford-based Sikorsky loses bid to build Future Long Range Assault Aircraft

Stratford-based Sikorsky has lost a major contract to a different aerospace manufacturer, according to an announcement by the U.S. Army.
Bell Textron, which is based in Texas, will build the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft.
Gov. Ned Lamont called the news disappointing on Monday.
He also said the state will look forward to future opportunities.
