The debate over what was and what was not known in Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel's murder trial continued in court Friday.

Skakel is seeking a new trial in the murder case of Martha Moxley. In 2002, he was found guilty in the 1975 beating death of Moxley. Skakel is currently serving 20 years to life.

Skakel's former attorney Mickey Sherman was back on the stand Friday. He represented Skakel in the 2002 trial and says key documents were not included in the information provided to him by the state. Sherman says he never received a police-prepared suspect profile that says Skakel was not at the scene of the crime. He also claims he was not told before Skakel was convicted about a claim implicating two other men.

State's Attorney Jonathan Benedict argued the information was provided. He pointed out specific documents from the pretrial discovery boxes given to Sherman.Related Information
