Snow fell Wednesday on parts of southwestern Connecticut.
Crews, like the Redding Highway Department, said few cars were present on the roads, making their job a bit easier. They say they spent much of their day Tuesday preparing for the snowy weather.
Businesses in the area told News 12 that many residents were visiting the stores seeking storm supplies in addition to their Thanksgiving supplies.
Thanksgiving's forecast is more mild, with temperatures topping out in the low 40s.
