The teen being charged with threatening a Stamford High School student with racist voicemails made his first court appearance Wednesday.
Candace Owens received the messages in February, and several arrests have been made since the start of the investigation.
The case has been continued until the end of May because the suspect charged is 17 years old. The name of the suspect has not been released, nor have the details of the court proceedings. The lawyer for the accused said the suspect denies the harassment and intimidation charges.
Police have sent tapes of the voicemails for forensics analysis, and are waiting for the results before continuing with the case. They say the case is still ongoing.
