A concert in Stamford helped raise money for veterans in Connecticut and to rebuild a park in the city.
The "Rock Out For The Red, White and Blue" concert was held at the Palace Theatre Sunday.
Proceeds benefit Connecticut veterans and the rebuild of Veterans Park in downtown Stamford.
The show's founder, Lisa May, says she wants to give back to those who served.
May says veterans deserve more.
“I feel like a lot of people don't do enough for the veterans, so I just wanted to help anyway I can. It’s just something extra, another way for people to get together as a community to thank our veterans who are here and active duty," May says.
Stamford native Tony Clark severed as the emcee.
