A Stamford man has been found not guilty of second-degree manslaughter after hitting a pedestrian with his work truck last year.
Police say George Christiansen was making a legal right turn at a red light when he struck Lynette Wagner as she was crossing the street. They say Wagner was walking in the pedestrian crosswalk but against the pedestrian signal.
The trial was decided by a judge, who ruled that the state did not prove that Christiansen acted recklessly.
