The Stamford Police Association has named 10-year veteran Officer Brian Donahue as “Officer of the Year.”
Donahue is a member of the department’s Special Victims Unit and worked on several cases involving child victims.
The award is named after two fallen police officers, David Troy and William McNamara, who were killed in the line of duty in 1960 and 1973.
