Stamford police say a man tried to abduct a woman Tuesday afternoon. Officials say the attempted abduction happened on Crystal Street. The victim is 22 years old, according to police. They say the

Stamford police say a man tried to abduct a woman Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say the attempted abduction happened on Crystal Street.
The victim is 22 years old, according to police. They say the victim kicked the suspect after he came out of the bushes and grabbed her.
Police say the suspect then got into a car, and as the victim was walking away, he told her to get in.
They also say the driver of the car was scared off by a witness who had pulled up to the scene. The driver was found on Virgil Street not long after the incident.
Officials say they have not arrested the driver, but they have detained him.
