Stamford police: Man who was barricaded on High Ridge Road voluntarily comes out

The man who was barricaded in Stamford voluntarily came out uninjured and was taken to the hospital, according to Stamford police.

Stamford police responded to a barricade situation Saturday morning in the 3000 block of High Ridge Road at around 9 a.m.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene including first responders from Stamford along with Darien police.

Authorities from Pound Ridge, New York assisted in the incident.

High Ridge Road was closed in that vicinity until the situation was resolved. The scene is now clear and High Ridge Road was reopened to traffic.
