Stamford is reopening schools for five days a week of in-person
learning.
The school superintendent says that COVID cases had dropped to a point where it’s
safe to bring students and staff back.
The city is stretching its rollout over a period of weeks, with elementary
school students returning first and then middle school students.
There is currently no date for high schoolers to come back full time.
The new rules only apply to families who are currently using the hybrid model.
The families who have chosen full-time remote learning will stay in that model.
