Officials at Westhill High School in Stamford say they are heightening security after threats were found earlier this week in the bathroom.
According to principal Michael Rinaldi, there will be extra officers at the school for the next several days.
Rinaldi says two vague threats were found in two separate bathrooms Tuesday and Wednesday.
No specifics on the threats were given, and the principal has notified parents of both incidents.
In a message yesterday to parents, Rinaldi said, “The Stamford Police Department has been, and will continue to be, actively involved in investigating and resolving this matter. Please be assured, the police are continuing to take any and all necessary precautionary measures, to ensure our safety."
Rinaldi says classes will be held as scheduled.
