Downtown Stamford is set to host the UBS Parade Spectacular today.
This year's balloons include well-loved children's characters like Daniel Tiger, Super Grover and the Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Ahead of the event, a balloon inflation party was held on Saturday.
The festivities begin at noon.
