The governor will now decide if new casinos should be added to the state.

The General Assembly has approved a bill that could allow the owners of Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun Casinos to work together to open a new gambling hall in the state.

Supporters say it would keep jobs in Connecticut and reduce competition from new casinos in neighboring states.
Gov. Dannel Malloy has not said if he will sign the bill.
