State officials announced that $45.8 million will go toward helping people facing homelessness this holiday season.
They said $6.4 million of that fund will go to the state's newly created regional hubs.
Among the 12 hub locations are Bridgeport, Norwalk, Stamford and Torrington.
Officials say the hubs provide intake services and diversion services.
The additional funding will go to areas like Rapid Rehousing Services and Permanent Supportive Housing.
