A Florida man was killed in a four-car crash yesterday on the northbound Merritt Parkway in New Canaan.

The crash happened just after 3 p.m. Police say Frank Branter, of St. Petersburg, Florida, was driving a black Lexus that hit a Kia in the right lane. The Kia then struck two cars in front of it.

Branter was taken to Norwalk Hospital and later pronounced dead.
