State police are looking for the driver who left the scene of a fatal crash on I-84 early Saturday morning.
Troopers say they responded to a 911 call around 1 a.m. reporting a person in the roadway on I-84 west before Exit 2 in Danbury.
Responding state police officers say they found a man's body in the right lane, and located a Jeep Grand Cherokee on the shoulder.
The deceased man has been identified as 32-year-old Daniel Crawford Jr., of Brewster, New York. Police say he was the owner of the Jeep.
State police say the other vehicle involved in the incident did not remain at the scene.
