State Senate Republican leader Len Fasano is calling on Attorney General William Tong to see whether the police reform bill is constitutional.

"The language ultimately included in the bill related to the creation of the Inspector General was rushed and contains elements that conflict with the state Constitution... these unconstitutional elements could put provisions of the bill at risk for legal challenges and being invalidated," Fasano says.

The bill goes up for a vote in the Senate Tuesday.
