State lottery officials announced today they have suspended play and payouts for one of Connecticut's daily numbers games.
Officials say the 5 Card Cash game was taken offline after an investigation found some retailers may have manipulated their lottery terminals to cash in on the instant part of the game.
The state says anyone holding a winning ticket will be able to cash it in when new software is installed, perhaps as early as next week.
