Some Cheese Nips recalled due to possible presence of plastic

A limited quantity of Cheese Nips has been recalled in the United States.
Mondelez Global announced that there was a possible presence of small food-grade yellow plastic pieces from a dough scraper that was incorporated into the production process of a small amount of the product.
The company says it became aware of the issue when yellow plastic pieces were noticed on the manufacturing equipment.
This recall is limited exclusively to Cheese Nips  that have a “best when used by date” of May 18, 2020, May 19, 2020 and May 20, 2020 (retail UPC 0 44000 03453 5).
The snacks were sold at retail stores nationwide. 
There have been no reports of injury or illness reported to Mondelez Global to date related to this product.
Consumers who have the product are asked to discard any product they may have.
