A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car, prompting a closure of I-95 in Stratford for several hours Wednesday, state police say.
The crash happened around 6:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes between exits 32 and 31 near Linden Avenue.

The highway was closed for several hours while police investigated the crash but later re-opened.
