Probe finds sexual, physical abuse at West Hartford school for the deaf

(AP) - An investigation has revealed multiple credible allegations of sexual and physical abuse by former faculty and staff spanning decades at a school for deaf children in Connecticut.
The findings were released by the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford one year after the school says it became aware of allegations from alumni of misconduct by former faculty and staff at the school and a summer camp it operates.
The school says it was able to corroborate allegations of sexual misconduct against several former faculty and staff, including a longtime executive director.
