Officials: At least 9 displaced following early morning fire in Union City

Officials say to an early morning house fire in Union City displaced at least nine people on Monday.
The three-alarm fire started around 3 a.m. near Hudson Avenue and 34th Street.
According to officials, the fire appears to have started in the basement.
Officials say one firefighter was taken to the hospital.
“There’s a baby there,” says neighbor Deysi Moro. “She only had PJs, so I gave her clothes and blankets and water, and we told them to come inside because it was cold because when you see everything that belongs to you burning up, it’s very sad.”
The American Red Cross is assisting.
