A local teen is starting a book club to get people turning pages during the pandemic.
Babette loves books and decided with her extra time, she wanted to help others reclaim their love for reading.
She started the quarantine book club online with tricks from computer class, invited her friends and now wants to reach families everywhere.
The first book, "The Breakdown," can be read online for free.
Babette's hope is that when families are finally out of the house, the reading continues.
She is asking people to read one to 200 pages, then meet her for an online book club meeting Saturday.
