A Stratford dental office accepted recycled CPAP machines Monday that they will send to an engineering compay where they will be repurposed to make respirators for COVID-19 patients.
The Brush and Floss Dental Center took in the donations of old CPAP machines.
The machines are usually used to treat people who suffer with sleep apnea.
The office teamed up with the Hunter Engineering Company who repurposes parts from the CPAP machines to make respirators for health care and hospital workers.
Brush and Floss Dental Center says it is also working with The Ventilator Project, a group who refurbish CPAP machines for hospitals.
