A Stratford food pantry is pleading for donations as the summer months approach. Volunteers at the Sterling House say the food bank's supply is running dangerously low, prompting them to ration the amount of food given out to their clients. Pantry manager Raymond O'Donnell says shelves are always packed during the holiday season, but that donations dwindle as winter shifts to spring and summer. Organizers say they fed 8,000 people last year and that the pantry's current stockpile will fail them without the public's help.
