A residential home for the developmentally disabled in Stratford is closing its doors for good this week.
The Ella T. Grasso Regional Center is being shut down because of budget cuts.
Officials say 70 people lived at the facility when it was operating at full capacity, but it had recently been cut down to 30 people.
They say the remaining patients at the center will be moved to other facilities across the state.
