Authorities say flames ripped through a restaurant in Stratford Friday night, and the fire has been deemed a case of arson.
The flames sparked at around 9 p.m. in a vacant space above Los Jalapenos restaurant, which is located in a shopping center on Success Avenue.
The fire spread to Village Pub, another establishment located next door. Patrons and employees evacuated after smelling smoke.
Officials confirmed that there is major structural damage to the property and it could take weeks for some of the business there to be back up and running.
Police are offering a $2,500 reward to anyone with information on the suspicious fire.
