A Stratford woman whose dog was stolen earlier this month is urging the public to continue looking for her pet.
Vickey Moreno was out putting up flyers in a three-mile radius of her home on Sunday.
A man was captured on video scoping out the house, then making away with the 1-year-old Cavapoo who had been left by a family member in the front yard.
Moreno says Simba is like a family member.
"This has been a complete nightmare for us,” she told News 12. “I'm not sure who you are that has our dog, but I pray that you have a conscience and just do the right thing and bring him home to his family. We miss him. We need him. He's a part of our family."
Moreno says Simba is on medication for anxiety and gets nervous around strangers. Anyone who spots the animal is asked to call (203) 243-4215.
