String of thefts reported over the weekend in New Canaan
On Saturday afternoon, two people reported having their handbags stolen from their cars while they were at Waveny Park. Both cars were locked, but the handbags were left in plain view.

A Kymco scooter was taken from the New Canaan Parish parking lot on Friday.
On Saturday afternoon, two people reported having their handbags stolen from their cars while they were at Waveny Park. Both cars were locked, but the handbags were left in plain view.
A BMW was taken from a home on Hemlock Hill Road Saturday morning. The vehicle was unlocked with the key fob inside. The car was found abandoned in Meriden on Sunday.
