Hundreds of students from Milford received their high school diplomas Tuesday night, four years after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Words cannot describe it. He’s my one and only, my one and only son,” Ana Lopes said. “He’s an amazing kid and I couldn’t be prouder.”
Graduates of Jonathan Law High School were nearing the end of eighth grade when COVID-19 turned their world upside down.
“It was just a really hard time for everybody,” Mariah Groves said.
“Seeing them get to this point is huge,” Lopes added.
