The teenager accused of stabbing his classmate to death in 2017 was back in court Tuesday.

Abel Cedeno is charged in the killing of 15-year-old Matthew McCree inside the Urban Assembly for Wildlife Conservation in 2017. Both families are awaiting an official trial date as the case was adjourned again.

McCree's family was outside Bronx Criminal Court calling Cedeno a "murderer" as they await justice.

"Honestly it is not fair to us because we can't even grieve the way we want to grieve because every time we turn around we have to be in court," said Louna Dennis, McCree's mother. "Every time we come, it is something different. It will make two years and nothing has been done."

Cedeno's lawyer, Robert Feldman, tells News 12 that he requested a special prosecutor be appointed to the case because of issues with the district attorney's office.

Cedeno is due back in court on Feb. 25 when an official trial date is expected to be set.
