The Connecticut State Police Bomb Squad was called to the Bridgeport Community Health Center, Optimus Health Care Thursday morning after a suspicious package was found.
More than 100 people were evacuated after the package arrived in the mail and was deemed suspicious around 9:30 a.m.
East Main Street between Arctic Street and Barnum Avenue was shut down for about two hours as the bomb squad investigated.
Police eventually announced that the package did not contain an explosive device and the all-clear was given.
Police tell News 12 that the package had been sent from Hong Kong and was supposed to contain a watch but was much bigger and heavier than expected.
Investigators say the parcel contained lithium batteries.
