If you have been dining out lately, you've been helping raise the numbers when it comes to restaurant reservations.

"The trend has been improving for restaurants in Connecticut. We're still down, though, about 3% from December of last year. But we're much better than we were in September, where restaurant reservations were down 8%. So there has been gradual improvement as we head into the holiday season," says Caleb Silver, of Investopedia.
