State and local police are continuing to investigate the crash between two tour buses that left 30 people hurt and crippled I-95 traffic for hours.
West Haven police say one bus rear-ended the other around 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The crash between the two buses, en route from New York to Boston, blocked the left and center northbound lanes of I-95 for about two hours.
Officials say about 30 people were checked for minor injuries. They say all of the passengers were sent to a school until new buses arrived.
Police say the driver of the bus that hit the other was issued a traffic violation.
