Americans are expected to dish out some big bucks this year for Halloween, according to the National Retail Federation.
The National Retail Federation says people will spend $2 billion more this year on the holiday than last year – a record $10 billion.
The money includes candy, decorations and costumes for adults, kids and pets.
Most of the spending will go toward costumes – over $3.3 billion. The organization says it’s the most consumers have spent on costumes since 2017. On average, consumers are expected to spend over a little more than $102.
