The UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams aren't the only Husky teams chasing a championship, the University of Connecticut Formula SAE is too.

They are a collegiate level Formula-style race team that makes cars that compete at competitions.

Since 2007, the club has produced 15 gas powered vehicles that are drawing huge crowds on campus.

The next generation of engineers in the student-run organization designs, builds and races the vehicles.

This is the first year this group has designed an electric vehicle. UConn heads to Michigan next month for the national competition.
