University of Bridgeport expands its sports program
After the college dropped its football program to build the Wheeler Recreation Center nearly 50 years ago, the Purple Knights football team is coming back.

4ds agoThe University of Bridgeport announced Monday it is expanding its sports program.
After the college dropped its football program to build the Wheeler Recreation Center nearly 50 years ago, the Purple Knights football team is coming back.
The college is also adding men’s lacrosse teams, women’s and men’s indoor and outdoor track teams, and an esports team.
