Police have arrested the suspect wanted for allegedly shoving a woman into moving subway train in Times Square Monday morning.
Anthonia Egegbara, 32, was spotted Tuesday by NYPD officers on patrol within the transit system and taken into police custody in connection to the assault, sources say.
The Queens resident allegedly shoved the 42-year-old woman into an incoming train while she was standing on the Times Square - 42nd Street subway station platform shortly after 8 a.m.
The victim fell back onto the platform, police say. She sustained serious physical injuries to her face and legs, and she was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
Police say there is no clear motive at this time.
