A pair of burglars in Bridgeport made off with 10 pairs of Nike Air Jordan sneakers worth $3,000, police say, and surveillance cameras caught the crime.
They also allegedly caused more than $6,000 in damage when they broke in through the front door with a crowbar, police say.
The video shows two men entering a three-story apartment complex along the 100 block on Cleveland Avenue at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11. Investigators are asking for the public's help catching the intruders.
The video shows the men enter carrying empty bags and leaving a few minutes later -- with the same bags noticeably bulging. Police say all of the stolen sneakers came from one apartment.
Police say the suspects know the victim and were also aware he had many pairs of expensive sneakers in his home.
