Connecticut officials honored Vietnam War veterans Thursday.
The annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Ceremony took place at the Connecticut Veterans Affairs campus in Rocky Hill.
Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day is formally recognized in the state on March 30 to honor those who served.
Veteran Ted Graziani says the ceremony is meaningful to him and fellow veterans because they did not receive a gracious homecoming 50 years ago.
During his time in office as a state legislator, Graziani sponsored the law that created Welcome Home Veterans Day.
