A Bridgeport family is remembering their son four years after he was gunned down just a block from his home.
Alain Fabien's family held a memorial vigil on the corner of Main Street and Capitol Avenue Friday night in the man's honor.
Fabien, 22, was killed while walking to a store near 30 Garfield Ave.
His family and friends put candles and pictures near a tree on the street and shared memories of him. His mother says her son was kind to everyone and that the family still has a hard time accepting that he's gone.
The family says the murder was never solved and they hope the memorial will get someone to come forward with information.
