A Milford mother whose family photo has become the center of an Internet hoax gone viral is concerned about the safety of her family.
Karena Bennett says her family photo taken at Milford Hospital last year at the birth of her child should represent a special moment for her family.
The picture first appeared in the Milford Mirror newspaper, which featured her son Damon as the first born baby in Milford in 2015. Bennett says the photo resurfaced last week posted next to an article on a satirical website claiming Bennett is a 35-year-old mother of 14 who was trying to set a Guinness World Record with 14 different fathers.
She now says she's become the target of cyberbullying.
Bennett says she wants people to realize that the story is fake. She says she contacted Milford police and the Milford Mirror to try to find out how it could have happened.
