War protesters rained on Sen. John McCain?s (R-Ariz.) parade Sunday by protesting outside his Sacred Heart University speaking engagement.
McCain is stumping for votes with two days left to go until Super Tuesday, when Connecticut and 23 other states will hold their presidential primaries. Protesters showed up to confront McCain?s support of the war in Iraq.
The presidential hopeful was met with occasional heckling by some audience members during a speech in which he promised to fix the economy and make the Bush tax cut permanent.
In addition to the heckling, protesters gathered outside the venue carrying signs demanding to bring the troops home.
