Frigid temperatures, combined with gusty winds, are making it feel much colder across Connecticut.
Gov. Ned Lamont activated Connecticut's severe cold weather protocol Monday night. It will remain in effect until 12 p.m. Thursday.
As temperatures are only expected to drop, people are reminded to layer up when going outside, as well as limit time outdoors as much as possible.
