The temperature is warming up today, but it'll be a wet one.
According to News 12 meteorologists, temperatures held above freezing all night long, allowing the city to miss the iciness originally expected. The freezing rain is at least 30 miles to the north and west where elevations are higher.
The rain is expected to taper off by 6 p.m., with the high nearing 40 degrees.
Colder, but seasonably average weather is in store for the rest of the week and next weekend.
