A potentially scary situation ended in joy over the weekend as a pregnant woman gave birth to the first of her twins in her Westport kitchen.
Lisa Rondeau was on the phone with 911 early Saturday morning when she gave birth to Coulton, the first of her expectant twins. Father Adelard Rondeau was happy to see medics arrive after the first child was born.
?The paramedics showed up just in time,? said Adelard Rondeau.
After rushing Lisa to the hospital she gave birth to Brendan, who is now home with the family. Coulton is still at Yale New Haven Hospital and is expected to rejoin his new family soon.
