The Westport Longshore Golf Club's Nine and a Half Hole Committee broke ground on a new clubhouse today.
The clubhouse, which they've dub the "halfway house," will be located halfway through the golf course.
Organizers say the clubhouse will be dedicated to Cliff Ross, who was an avid golfer and died of pancreatic cancer a year ago.
The Westport Longshore Golf Club hopes to open for play on Friday, contingent upon the weather.
