3h agoWestport police say they've recovered $3.2 million in Bitcoin stolen from a resident.
Police say in Jan. 2023, the victim was convinced to move the money from a retirement account into a “Kraken” crypto wallet they did not control.
Police were able to track the scam to individuals in Pakistan. They say an arrest is unlikely, but the money has been returned to the victim.
