This week's "What's Ailing You" takes a look at how to avoid allergens like mold and pollen.
Ken Kingsley of Stamford-based Air Solutions Inc. says you need to change or clean the filters in your air conditioning units every six months. 
If you have pets or lots of people moving around, then you should change them more frequently.
Doctors recommend showering after being outdoors or using saline nasal wash.
